The story of how everything got started.

I got laid off in the old field in 2015 by Nabors Drilling. . After being out of the industry for a little while I realized I never wanted to go back to working my butt off roughnecking. If not the oil field what other option did I have, I knew I had to study hard and get smart if I wanted to make something of myself. I ended up finding a Mentor that taught me the basics about stating a business. In 2016 I started my 1st business doing pointless dent repair on vehicles . There was still something missing , as I was making a little money doing PDR I was also studying how to run a business and beginning to learn how to invest in real estate, I ended up stumbling across this video on YouTube, ( it was a summary of the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki) the moment I started watching this summary video, every molecule in my body began to tingle because it was exactly what I was looking for. The missing piece of what I needed was (financial literacy) I immediately ordered the book the moment the video was finished. I still remember the day like it was yesterday, I like to call it (the day I cracked the code) lol but honestly the feeling of certainty knowing that I was about to create a very wealthy future and bring a lot of value to the world, thats a felling a person will never forget. After reading the book, I was on a chain reaction, led on by Robert Kiyosaki. Kiyosaki's book led me to Ken McElroy, author of the ABCs of Real Estate investing, McElroy led me to Tom Wheelwright, author of Tax Free Wealth. All of those books along with many more put me on a path to exactly where I wanted to go.  A few months later I quit doing dent work after securing my first investment property, using none of my own cash like I had learned. The first property sold in under a week, it was a great deal. I used the cash from the 1st property to buy my next property. My second property was a piece of land in a great location, I began looking for a affordable way to build a home on the land to increase the value and that is were the Obsession for affordable housing started. I was immediately attracted to (Portable Buildings and barndo's). After fixing and flipping a few properties, tiny homes and buying rentals, at this time I had researched every Portable Building company around and there was one in particular that really stood out from the rest because they were built so well (GRACELAND PORTABLE BUILDINGS). I got to talking with a dealer and ended up connecting with Ryan Holden, Regional sales manager at the Time over the East Texas division. He showed me how well developed the Graceland team truly was. I loved the company, the people and how they built the structures, it was a no brainer, I became a dealer, Graceland Cabins was born in 2018.  When I first became a graceland dealer I was selling buildings in my backyard on fb marketplace , my 1st year I sold over a million dollars in inventory from my back yard, adding the Graceland buildings to my portfolio was a success right out of the gate. On my journey I've continued investing in real estate, getting larger each time, making Graceland cabins my day today business, while investmenting in real estate is the retirement and wealth generating assets, slowly growing the portfolio overtime through raising capital with private investors, banks and fix and flips, with a goal to bring my family abundance for Generations.  My wife Shelby has been apart of the team for a little over a year now and she has showed herself to bring a lot of value.  We have 2 little ones and hoping for another soon.  At the end of the day all that we do is for nothing if we can't pass it down to them and continue breaking chains were they never have to work making some other company wealthy..................... more to come soon.
